Fellow photographer Jamie Delaine and her husband Randy are the founders of The School Sessions: a one-day event across the globe on Sunday, April 12, 2015 to raise $200,000 to build a school in Haiti. They reached out to me asking if I'd like to be involved and of course I jumped at the chance! Jamie and Randy's belief that business needs to be about more than just making money, that we should use our platforms to give back and encourage others in our industry to do the same really...

This past November I had the great pleasure of attending a fabulous 30th birthday party for my dear friend Kara Burfeind. She held her dinner party at The Goodwin Library which is located in Pike Place Market and overlooks the iconic sign and market below. Kara used Rachel the pig, who is the unofficial mascot of the market, as inspiration for her favor boxes that contained two beautiful macaroons made by The Sweet Side of course;) She also made her stunning cake that was chocolate and coconut…..so yummy! I loved getting to see her run around picking up every pumpkin she could get her hands on. We always have a great time at Bob's and I look forward...
