Burfeind, Lawson, & Van Tassel Family Portrait Session

Kara Burfeind is not just the talented baker and owner of The Sweet Side here in Seattle, she is also my good buddy! When she asked me to photograph her family as a gift for her parents I was extremely honored. We took the pictures at Kara’s parent’s property in Duvall and the setting couldn’t have been more picturesque. The lushness and beauty of the Pacific Northwest never ceases to amaze me! Even the family puppies made an appearance, managing to all pose side by side for one epic group shot! The Lawsons and the Van Tassels are the type of people that will welcome you into their home for a chili dinner only having known you for about an hour….yup that happened….it was amazing! I am grateful to have spent the afternoon with this lovely family and I look forward to sharing in more chili dinners….next time at my place!
