Kara Burfeind is not just the talented baker and owner of The Sweet Side here in Seattle, she is also my good buddy! When she asked me to photograph her family as a gift for her parents I was extremely honored. We took the pictures at Kara's parent's property in Duvall and the setting couldn't have been more picturesque. The lushness and beauty of the Pacific Northwest never ceases to amaze me! Well I'm back from my wonderful vacation with Justin and my family, and I'm so excited to share with you the portraits I took of my baby sister Mallory.
