This time last year my husband Justin and I were headed to Spain for two weeks on our honeymoon. It was a life changing trip that had us seriously considering moving there. There are no words to describe the all encompassing magic that is Spain. As an artist I was overwhelmed. Constant inspiration just oozing out of every place we visited. Barcelona was our favorite which was fitting since Justin’s paternal heritage has Catalonian roots. We couldn’t help but meld right into the laid back, life loving pace of everyday Spain. Here are a few images from our trip to Barcelona, Montserrat and Madrid.

I love my adoptive hometown of Seattle. It’s one of the most beautiful cities I’ve lived in, and I’ve lived in a lot of places! It’s an easy place to call home and find daily inspiration. Last month my sister Mallory and her friend Rachelle came out for a mini vacation from LA. I decided to take them on a perfect first day in Seattle and document it all along the way. Style Me Pretty Living was gracious enough to feature my images and a step by step guide I wrote to all the places I love. Thank you again to all the ladies at SMP! The moment I met Kelsey and Jim I knew we were going to be fast friends. I don’t think I’ve ever smiled or laughed as much during an engagement session….ever! We met at the Ballard Locks and despite a few rain drops at the beginning Kelsey, Jim and I had the best time. I am so looking forward to their wedding in November. If their engagement session is any indication of how fun and fabulous their wedding is going to be then I know I am in for one good time!! Kelsey and Jim are such a pleasure to be around. Their smiles and laughter are infectious and I have been warned that their bridal party is just as much fun! They are true best friends and so in love, their wedding is going to be truly heartwarming….I’m already starting to tear up!!
