Me at Hampton Court, England 2008 So another Monday has arrived, and the usual anxiety of all that I need to get done is rattling around in my head. I'm doing my best to find that "happy place" and realize that I really don't have THAT crazy of a week, at least compared to the weeks I've had recently.  I think the hardest part of this week is wanting it to be over as soon as possible. I'm so close to being in Florida I can already smell the coconut scented...

I haven’t done a travel series in a while so I thought I’d share some images from our trip to Victoria, British Columbia last August. Anyone who knows me or my family knows that we LOVE everything to do with the UK. It’s our heritage, we love visiting the UK, we even turned our dining room into the McKenzie Family Pub! Visiting Victoria feels like you have literally just flown across the US and the Atlantic to the UK, but all we had to do was take a 2 hour ferry ride:) There is so much to do in Victoria, from having Tea at the famous Empress Hotel, any and every outdoor activity known to man, royal museums, garden tours, shopping, pub crawls….the list goes on and on. Justin and I were lucky enough to be on this trip with his mom Gigi, and all we did was eat, drink, shop, and walk. It was SO FUN! The architecture and the landscape is incredibly stunning, it will take your breath away, and everyone you meet on the street or in a bar is really friendly and obliging. I highly recommend visiting Victoria, and I look forward to going back again and again;)

The Empress Hotel is where you can have high tea, very fun to do with your girlfriends:)

The landscape is stunning, from the amazing trees to the majestic San Juan Islands.

I know it's totally a girl thing, but there's something about coming home from a trip and crawling into your own bed that is sooo satisfying. Clean linens, your pillows, it's so wonderful:) Not to say that the bed I was sleeping in on my trip wasn't comfortable, on the contrary it was incredible, but there's nothing like being home, in your own space all snuggled up listening to the rain:) The ladies out there know what I'm talking about! I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of your week,...

The past few days I've been in Colorado, and one of the main reasons for my visit was to celebrate the graduation of my dear friend Amanda from college.  She is now a licensed social worker, and I couldn't be more proud of her!!! The ceremony was held at 9am Sunday morning and it was a glorious day! The weather was stunning and Amanda was beaming with pride as she walked across the stage. Her family, my family, and I couldn't stop smiling...

I"m home visiting my family in Boulder, Co and to see one of my best friends Amanda Purvis graduate from College. Yesterday my mom, sister and I had the best time just doing girlie things:) We planted flowers, watched movies, got our nails done. We also got to hang out with little Eli who is the super cute little boy my mom nannies:) The day flew by because we were having so much fun! Then this morning we went to go see the hot air balloons at my parents neighborhood...

Today was my sweet Charlie Boy's 1st birthday:) I can't believe how fast this first year has gone! It's amazing how fast they grow in their first year of life. Charlie spent the day on long walks, a trip to the dog park, and eating yummy treats his mommy (me) made for him. Charlie got two Birthday cards from Grandma and Grandpa McKenzie and two new bed duvets...

I had the great pleasure of spending some time with Miss Ayla Sunshine and Miss Lainy Grey this weekend. It was the first time the two little muffins had met, but they were fast friends. I spent the day cracking up at these two, the faces and the noises they both make are not only ridiculously cute but hilarious as well! We spent the day at Birch Bay playing in the water and the grass, giggling the whole way;)

Lainy is such a ham! I LOVED IT!

Ayla Sunshine’s little yellow bathing suit was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!

Justin's long time friends John and Ally Owens are in town with their cute as a button daughter Lainy. We had a wonderful morning exploring the market and playing at Greenlake:) We are headed up north for the weekend for fishing and fun but I just had to share a picture of this ridiculously cute little "lady bug" (Lainy's nick name.) I will have lots of cute pictures from the weekend to share next week! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, Cheers!...

I've had a busy busy last few weeks, and this week is no exception, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from this last week. There are lots of images that I LOVE that I can't share quite yet, but these two are some of my favorites that I can share. I love them because they both encompass the two things I ADORE shooting...
