Tre Purvis

Nothing brings me more joy then when I get to spend time with friends who I don’t get to see that often. Amanda is one of my best friends who I’ve known for over ten years, and every time I go home to Colorado I try to see her and her wonderful family. Over Christmas I was able to drive down to Castle Rock to see her and David’s new home, and of course take some pictures of their “cute as a button” son Tre. Tre is the type of child that makes you want to smile and giggle and play all day. His energy is infectious! I had the best time following him around his new neighborhood, exploring and playing. There is nothing more adorable then a three year old showing you around his room explaining what each stuffed animal’s name is and explaining what noises each truck makes. I could have sat there all day listening to his cute little voice. Amanda is also a blogger and blogs about the Purvis family’s daily life and all the adorable things that come out of Tre’s mouth! http://www.purvistribe.blogspot.com. They are also in the process of adopting a child…or two…. and she blogs all about the struggles and joys of the adoption process. http://babyafrica.blogspot.com. Both blogs are not only informative, but entertaining and I highly recommend both. I can’t explain the joy I feel when i see my closest friends marry great men and have beautiful children. It’s the best feeling in the world knowing that the people I consider to be family are happy and healthy. Please keep the Purvis family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this emotional and difficult process of adoption. I know they will be blessed with new additions to their family very soon, and I know for a fact that Tre will make sure to tell them the names of all his stuffed animals:)
