Pumpkin Patch
While my family was in town this month I decided it would be fun to all go to a pumpkin patch. We hadn’t gone to a pumpkin patch or carved pumpkins in years, (in fact we don’t normally see each other in the month of October) so this was a particular treat for the McKenzie family:) We went to Bob’s Farm in Snohomish, WA and had an absolute ball! It rained the entire time, but that didn’t stop us. We had a great time stomping through the mud to pick out our pumpkins, drinking warm cider, and riding the hay ride. I can’t explain in words the heavenly smells that came from this place. It was a mix of burning wood, fresh grass after it’s rained, smoked corn, and sweet apple cider………it was incredible. It was so nice to do a family activity together and I think Bob’s pumpkin patch is going to be a new family tradition!
Here are some of my favorite images from the day……
Mallory and Justin……..the comedians of the family:)
My adorable parents having fun watching their kids revert back to acting like children;)
The produce there was gorgeous!
Me and the Justie Boy:)
Poor Justin was sopping wet, but we had such a great time!
We met our friends Jason, Amelia, and Asia with their dog Ollie at the pumpkin patch, it was quite the family affair:)
We grabbed an apple crumb pie to have when we got back to the house and man was it good.
Sorry no Charlie picks from this trip. Mud + Rain = No Charlie!
