I’m Engaged!

Well it has been quite the weekend. I don’t even know where to start! My sister and my mother flew in on Thursday for a girls weekend and to watch the Oscars on Sunday night. Well little did I know that they were also here to be present at my proposal! Justin and I have been together for 5 1/2 years and EVERYONE in our lives has been asking, “When are you guys going to finally get married!” Well now I can give them an actual answer:) My parents, sister, and Justin’s mom Gigi have all been keeping it a secret for two weeks, which is a huge feat considering I talk to my mother and sister almost everyday! It was the most incredible moment, I was 100% shocked! It’s very rare that someone can surprise me so this was an “out of body experience” for sure! I was so thankful that my sister and my mother where there to not only witness this most precious moment, but to document it as well. The fact that I have images of Justin on his knee is so so so so amazing to me. I start to cry just thinking of how thankful I am for these images. Here are a few of my favorites:

It was so cold that day, but they still managed to get me out on the beach:) I thought I was there to take family photos…..perfect ruse to get me out there with my camera! I love that Charlie got to be apart of it as well, even though he has no clue what’s going on:)

I was a hot mess!

I love this one….tear!

My mom drew this in the sand and I managed to take a picture with my camera. My brain had stopped working so I could barley figure out how to use my camera! I’m surprised I even got a good exposure;) The ring is so perfect. He knows I like sapphires and diamonds together and it fits perfectly. I’ve been sleeping with it on every night;)

This was a few weeks ago when Justin called my Dad for his blessing:) This photo makes me cry every time. Thank you mom for thinking to take a picture!!!

It’s been a whirlwind, and now that things are somewhat back to normal it’s starting to really sink in. I’m so incredibly happy, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with my best friend and better half. Thank you Justin for making me the happiest girl in the world, I LOVE YOU!
